During some testing, and trying the development version, I’ve lost my yasr tables and can’t get them back anymore…

Here’s what I did.

(1) I had a yasr install
(2) I wanted to try a development version
(3) I deactivated yasr
(4) I removed yasr (all of it’s files)
(5) I deleted the yasr tables with the plugins garbage collector

Since step (5) I’ve tried to reinstall yasr through different ways (ftp-ed files of development version, dashboard-installed zip file of development version, dashboard-installed latest stable version), but didn’t get the yasr tables back anymore…

At what stage are the tables created? And how can I get them back right now?

I think I’m going to install a backup of this afternoon, but still would love to know the answer for future testing…

I never say to delete tables! There is no need at all to do it!

and then install yasr again

Just wanted to check how yasr uninstalls – and if it deletes the tables. Also was a good opportunity to test plugins garbage collector! 😉

Anyway, as told I’ve set back a backup of yesterday afternoon, which was fine.

Good to read however, that creating or not-creating new tables upon install depends on the options in the wp_options table. I’m pretty new to WordPress and never too old to learn! 😉
