We have blogs multi-site install. Each of our blogs is registered to jetpack using the same account. I noticed yesterday that they had all become attached to the dev or the staging versions. I tried disconnecting and then reconnecting from production but the stats and followers did not migrate over. I’m a bit confused about how that happened as we never copy staging or dev to production, only the other way around.

Can these be restored? I can supply a screenshot taken before I disconnected the staging or dev sites.

    Hi @uniofbathdmc

The site that you have mentioned in your reply is the main site. Right?

Could you please let us know the URL of your staging site? If the staging site doesn’t exist now, no issue. We only need its URL, and then we will transfer your followers plus stats to the main site.

    Hi Animesh,

Yes that’s the main site, most of the sites within that became associated with the staging equivalent https://stgbathblogs.wpengine.com/ but there were a couple that were associated with the dev equivalent https://devbathblogs.wpengine.com/. One of the sites /academic-skills was renamed during the time to /academic-and-employability-skills

    Thanks for your help.

    Hey @uniofbathdmc,

In order to manage this for you, we’ll need you to contact us at the form here. Make sure to link this thread in your ticket, and write to us from the email address you use on your WordPress.com account, so we can verify your ownership of this site.

Also: please let us know with as much detail as possible what the URLs of the development sites are and which corresponding production site the historical stats and subscribers should be associated with. I see a lot of Jetpack-connected sites on your account, so we need exact URLs in order to be able to track everything down properly and make sure all the data gets associated with the appropriate blog ID. 🙂

We will continue helping you via email once we get your ticket.

    Thanks!
