Lost site and account

    Hello,
    I had an account with wordpress.org under this email address that was hosted via godaddy. My godaddy hosting lapsed due to a payment issue, which has been resolved, but then the hosting no longer pointed to my site on wordpress.org, it reverted to a me.com site I had prior.
    In the meantime when I went to sign into my wordpress.org account it said there was no account associated with my email. I recreated my account, but now I have no sites associated. I don’t know if my account was hacked, but I’m wondering if there’s any way to recover my old site–it was forwarded to rebeccalemme.com.
    Any help would be much appreciated!

    You do not have a “site on WordPress.org. You have/had a site on GoDaddy using software from wordpress.org.

    When your GD hosting lapsed, did the delete your site?

    So, exactly where is it you’re trying to log in to?

    If they deleted my site, would it also delete my account here? I’ll check with GoDaddy for the other issue, but it seems I would still be able to log in here. True?

    No, your account here (on the wordpress.org forums) has nothing to do with your own website and accounts here are never deleted.

    that’s why i’m concerned that has been hacked as it no longer recognized that i even had an account under this address, which is the one i had used to create the site. is there any way to look into this and recover my account?

    Your account here? If you had one, it’s still here. Perhaps you’ve mistaken the user ID or the email at the time the account was created. In any case, fixing your login here will not recover your missing website.

    all the emails i’ve ever received from wordpress.org went to becca.lemme@gmail.com

    when i tried logging in with that is said no user associated. my account had disappeared. the only way i can imagine that happening is someone hacking and changing the associated email. is there any way to find out if that email was ever associated with an account and perhaps reinstate?
    shouldn’t i still be able to at least see the site i had created in the admin function? it’s as if it never existed.

    Contact forum-password-reset@wordpress.organd someone with access to that level of the forums will check.

    YOUR ACCOUNT HERE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOUR MISSING WEBSITE. They are in no way, shape, or form connected. Your issue is with GoDaddy. Have they replaced your WordPress site on their hosting?
