# Lost proper jetpack link

 * I recently had my site redone, and after pushing from the staging to the main
   site, reconnecting jetpack seems to have created a duplicate/new link to the 
   site. I can see both on wordpress.com. (Or maybe this happened while the staging
   site was being developed…) So the stats aren’t showing properly and I assume 
   the email follower list wouldn’t be the right one either.
 * How do I go about connecting the site to the old stats and email followers list?
 * Lastly, when further work is done on the staging site, any best practices to 
   keep this from happening again?

 * When you push a connected staging site to a live site, the Jetpack connection
   gets duplicated, which causes this issue.
 * I’ve fixed the issue on your site, so you should see your stats and subscribers
   again after you reconnect.
 * To prevent this in future, we recommend activating Staging Mode on your staging
   site:
