I recently had my site redone, and after pushing from the staging to the main site, reconnecting jetpack seems to have created a duplicate/new link to the site. I can see both on wordpress.com. (Or maybe this happened while the staging site was being developed…) So the stats aren’t showing properly and I assume the email follower list wouldn’t be the right one either.

How do I go about connecting the site to the old stats and email followers list?

Lastly, when further work is done on the staging site, any best practices to keep this from happening again?

    Thanks

    Hi there

When you push a connected staging site to a live site, the Jetpack connection gets duplicated, which causes this issue.

I’ve fixed the issue on your site, so you should see your stats and subscribers again after you reconnect.

To prevent this in future, we recommend activating Staging Mode on your staging site:

    Hope that helps!
