# Lost post page

 * Hi Helpers, I have lost my ‘posts’ page. I was editing another page and I clicked
   on “add author avatars shortcodes” to see what happened. What happened was I 
   lost my posts page and I can’t get it back! please help.

 * Have you tried:
 * – deactivating **all** plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works,
   re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
 * – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause
   problems.

 * I’ve tryed to do all that Esmi but no luck. My posts page is still there if I
   click on ‘catagories’ but it dosen’ activate on my pages bar. I get the “well
   this is embarassing” notice. Any suggestions?

 * Re-upload a fresh copy of Twenty Eleven to wp-content/themes using [FTP](http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients)(
   or whatever file management application your host provides).
