# lost my wordpress gui

 * Help! I went to my settings and changed my URL to another page so that my Home
   page would be text and graphics I actually wanted. I then decided I didn’t know
   what the heck I was doing, so I logged out without changing any settings. Now
   when I try to log in, I get a page of gibberish, a mish-mash of all the text 
   and graphics I have installed, but there is not WordPress menu that might allow
   me to sort this mess out. What can I do??

 * You will need to start by changing the url back using one of the methods described

 * Then have a look at [Creating a Static Front Page](http://codex.wordpress.org/Creating_a_Static_Front_Page),
   and see if anything there is along the lines of what you had in mind.

 * Thanks so much for your help, but this seems to be beyond my capabiities. I’m
   weeping with frustration.
    Could I possibly go back to my server admin settings
   and un-install WordPress??? Maybe reinstall?
