    Hello Tobias,

I have a serious problem, please help me πŸ™

I’ve moved my website to a new hosting service provider yesterday. Everything seems fine except all of my created Tables are gone! Please guide me how can I find them in the previous host’s data or in my backup files and then copy them to the new host or any other solution to fix this issue. I’m very anxious and nervous now.

    Thank you in advance.

    Best,
    Ali

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

How exactly did you move to the new host?
Do you still have access to the old site?

The new Host support center did it for me, They backup the whole site from previous host and then restored it to the new one and then created and moved all databases also in new place.

I have access to the previous host and and website files there but I can’t lunch the website from there. (just access to the files which still are there)

    Hi,

the files won’t help, we need access to the database, e.g. with a tool like “phpMyAdmin”.
TablePress stores the tables in the wp_posts database table, as entries with tablepress_table in the post_type field.
In addition, it needs two entries from the wp_options database table, tablepress_options and tablepress_tables.

If you still had access to the old site, you could export the tables there, on the “Export” screen of TablePress.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi,

well, apparently they did not move all the things, or they broke/corrupted something.
Do you have phpMyAdmin access to the old or the new site, or both?

I recommend to look for what I described above and compare it.

    Regards,
    Tobias

I have access to the phpMyAdmin in the new host but in the previous host it asks for username and password which I don’t have and I need to send them a ticket and ask for sending me.

If I restore the whole main database of the website by myself, can it be helpful??? (I have several backup which I can restore the latest one)

    Hi,

    ah, bummer.

Yes, restoring the site yourself should also be worth a try.
I recommend creating another backup of the current state of the new site’s database though, using phpMyAdmin.
Then, re-import your own database backup.

    Regards,
    Tobias
