I upgraded to 2.6.2 using simple scripts on bluehost.com tonight
and when I did – My Dashboard is now invisible and posts this error on the page :
Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_register_sidebar_widget() in /home1/badgalsr/public_html/wp-admin/includes/dashboard.php on line 34
then I deactivated the sidebar widgets – resulting in this error :
Fatal error: Call to undefined function register_sidebar() in /home1/badgalsr/public_html/wp-admin/includes/dashboard.php on line 13
I then deactivated ALL My Plugins and Voila ! Dashboard and Reading Options Reappeared.
I am going to reenable my plugins one by one, slowly all night until I discover the offending plug in and then I will update this post to alert others who are experiencing this issue – what plug in it was.
Thanks for Allowing Me To Vent,
