  • Let me ask you this, how exactly did you get WordPress on your hosting server the first time?

I had WordPress do it for me.

If your site is a wordpress.com site you will be and have been fortuate to receive help here. Next time you will get a better response going to those who installed it for you.

This WordPress do not do installs.

    Carlos,

I think you need to understand that WP is an open source software project. The software is made available to you but what you do with it is up to you. You are responsible for your site, not WordPress, so your anger was completely misdirected.

You will find that most people in this forum are more than willing to help others solve problems because at one time or another we’ve all been there. It’s the difference between your site being hosted with wordpress.com and hosting your own domain and running WordPress. They are two entirely different things.

Remember, it’s a poor carpenter who blames his tools. And in the future, make backups. It’s no crime to admit that you don’t understand something or know how to do something, but getting angry isn’t the best way to ask for help.

That all said, thank you for the compliment! Yes, I do rock!
