# Lost in 2FA

 * I had water damage in my office space in our house 2 month ago and lost quite
   a bit of hardware, including my two-factor authentication backups. Currently,
   I’m unable to log into my old WordPress.org account with them.
   My request for
   temporary help has fallen on deaf ears.
 * If the administrators reply at all, it’s at most every two weeks – and always
   negatively, as if they hadn’t read my request completely.
 * I know these admins provide support free of charge, but I think everybody deserves
   more help than just a cold, dismissive brush-off every time.
 * Perhaps someone can tell me how I can get this help.
 * To post this request in the forum, I first had to create a new account.
