Lost Full Background Image capability after 2.3.6 Update

    After updating to version 2.3.6 of the OneTone Theme, my Full Page Background image doesn’t display properly on the home page of a desktop computer.

    Previously, it was the full image displaying across the page. It now displays OK on a mobile phone, but not on a desktop computer.

    How can I roll back to a previous version of this theme? Or should I wait for an update which will correct this problem?

    Hi Spotter698.
    The author of this theme is not very responsive when it comes to answering support questions. It’s a great looking theme but unfortunately it has many issues especially when theY perform an update.

    As always you should make sure you are working with a child theme so any code changes you make do not get erased when you update the parent theme.

    If you have a back up of your website, previous to the theme update to 2.3.6, via FTP you can delete the Onetone theme off the server and then upload the backed up theme to the server.
    The Onetone theme can be found [WP-CONTENT] [THEMES] [ONETONE]

    If you do not have a backup you might want to try the WP Rollback plugin which you can find at the following link

    Thanks ghurstwaite, I appreciate your feedback.

    I am working with a Child Theme, so I’ll restore 2.3.4 which was the previous working version.
