# Lost email info

 * Hi all. I created a WP website back in May of this year. I was quite ill at the
   time and ended up having surgery two weeks later. I’m finally back on my feet
   again and am trying to work on my site. My problem is…..I think I must have created
   a special email address for this new site because my normal email isn’t a “valid
   email” for my admin login on WP. Is there a way I can find out which email address
   I used so I can remind myself?
 * I know this sounds dumb, but at the time I thought I was being really smart….
   haha.

 * if you have access to the hosting control panel you can use phpmyadmin to look
   in the wp_users table, where you can see (or change) the email address for your
   user account.

   is fried because I’m such a beginner but you gave me a little hope. Thanks so
