# Lost Dashboard

 * I’m a complete novice so sorry for my stupidity, but I’ve started a website which
   has not gone live yet. My amazing idea has proved to be too difficult so I’m 
   changing it to a simple weight loss blog. I changed the name by under settings,
   and now I can’t access my dashboard at all, using the old or new name. I used
   to access it using the link sent in an email, but all I get is ‘can’t find’ pages.
   I can’t even find where to log back in.
    Any help would be much appreciated and
   please keep it simple, thank you so much.

 * The old name was [http://www.global-buddies.com](http://www.global-buddies.com)
   
   and the new name is loseweightwithme.com And to make matters worse I’ve seen 
   there’s already a site called: loseweightwithme.wordpress.com

 * Thanks very much, I’m afraid I can’t understand a word of that, as I think you
   might need to know code. I’m kind of stuck between 2 URLs :-/
    The wp-admin suffix
   doesn’t work for either anymore.

 * You just need to edit some files. You can do that with the file manager provided
   by your host.

   is the easiest way. Go to your website files and look for wp-config.php. It will
   be in the main (root) directory.
