# Lost connection losing drafts

 * Running into a consistent problem that if my WiFi drops, on an attempt to post
   I am losing all changes, even if I’ve been quick saving. Dialog will offer to“
   try again” to post the draft online, but when it fails, all updates are lost.
   This has been happening since 4.0 and has not been rectified with 4.0.1. I am
   losing a LOT of material as the brief losses of connection are never predictable.
   This was not an issue in 3x.

 * Hello haroldgross,
 * Could you have all plugins deactivated and switch to unmodified default wordpress
   theme ? Also, try to access your site using different browser and clear the cache
   on your site and browser. Just so we don’t miss any basic troubleshooting here.
