 * Can anyone explain why I lose the <div style=”height:20px;”></div> when switching
   from HTML to visual and back?? Is there something I missed in the set-up?
 * I really need to control positions of text and images to create the required 
   look.

 * The Visual Editor strips out code. If you want to style it exactly then don’t
   use the visual editor. If you’d like a preview of what you’re doing then use 
   the preview button on the top right side of the posting page.

   to switch off the visual editor?

 * There is an option “disable the visual editor when writing” within your user 
   options
