# Lost card error -> Source detached problem

 * Hi!
    We have the strange case of the order. The user has one Credit Card added,
   the correct one, but then removed. Then User added a new card, not working Lost
   Card error. After that payment, the website did retry and the user got a source
   detached error because the plugin used the old(removed) source id.
 * Is it normal that after this kind of error the plugin removes the potentially
   stolen CC credenetials?

 * I’d like to make sure I understand what’s been happening here, you mention the
   customer added a new card and then received a Lost Card Error, is this the cvrd
   that was then removed unexpectedly after another attempt?

 * The first card was removed manually by the user.
    The second card was removed
   by Woo, after getting a lost card error.

 * To my knowledge no. It really depends on how the data was removed / edited. Changing/
   removing the card should have also updated the order and WooCommerce Subscriptions(
   This is a WooCommerce Subscriptions, correct?) if the correct actions were used
   via the my account page. If at one point the data was manually removed or edited
   than it would explain why there are data remnants of an old ID somewhere.
 * In that case you would have to look manually for them and update the data manually
   in the respective places.
