    Hello,

We are using this plugin for our site and it was ranking good.

Suddenly all pages are removed from indexing and site lost the ranking.

Is there anything changed on the plugin side that may affect this?

We tried our best to rank our site but all efforts are lost 🙁

Can you please help to investigate this issue?

    Thanks
    Tejas

  • Hi @tejashapani-1,

Thanks for reaching out and I’m sorry your ranking has changed.

Could you please share the site URL with me?

If you’re using Google Search Console, could you check the Indexing > Pages report for any issues?

You can also quickly check any page using the Google Rich Results Test to see if the page can be crawled and indexed- https://developers.google.com/search/docs/appearance/structured-data

I’m looking forward to helping you.

    Hi @subiewrx

    Thanks for your response.

I checked the Google Rich Results and it looks good.
Please check the result here: https://app.screencast.com/AqcbVfcki4fHa

And here is the GSC indexing result: https://app.screencast.com/8fOpve59PQmC1

We don’t have such issues before.

    Thanks

    Hi @tejashapani-1,

    Thanks for the follow-up.

    I’m sorry, but I wasn’t able to access this URL – https://app.screencast.com/AqcbVfcki4fHa
It requires a login to view it.

There have been no major changes in the plugin that would cause an issue with your pages being indexed.

In Google Search Console, please enter a URL for one of your pages in the Inspect any URL field at the top. Once Google has retrieved the data for that page, you should see a results screen with green checkmarks that mean everything is fine.

Next, click the TEST LIVE URL button and once Google has tested that URL, they should show the results. Check for any errors.

Finally, click the REQUEST INDEXING button and once Google has processed that, a popup should be displayed that has the results. Again, check for any errors.

If you don’t see any errors then it means that Google can read your content and index it.

Please let me know how it goes.

    Hi @subiewrx

Sorry i didn’t reliaze that it requires password.

I already checked the pages on GSC and it looks good.

But the main point is why our site ranking dropped drastically.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi @tejashapani-1,

Thank you for reaching out regarding recent fluctuations in your website’s ranking.

We understand that this might get a bit frustrating. But we’re committed to helping you address this issue.

First, I want to make sure you understand that AIOSEO is a plugin that assists you in improving the way your website appears to search engines.

SEO is primarily about providing information about your content to search engines so they can index your content.

Below is a checklist to help you determine the reason behind a change in your ranking:

    • Check for technical issues such as slow loading times and mobile responsiveness issues. You can check this in the Experience report in Google Search Console. You can also use Google’s PageSpeed Insights tool: https://pagespeed.web.dev/
    • Evaluate the quality and relevance of your content using AIOSEO’s powerful analysis tools. Optimize existing content for target keywords and consider creating new, valuable content for your audience. You can use Google’s self-assessment to determine if your content is helpful: <u>https://developers.google.com/search/docs/fundamentals/creating-helpful-content#self-assess</u&gt;
    • Review your backlinks to ensure the quality and relevance of your backlinks. Identify and disavow any potentially harmful links that may be negatively impacting your rankings.
    • Leverage AIOSEO’s competitor analysis tool (https://aioseo.com/docs/using-the-seo-analysis-tool/#aioseo-analyzing-a-competitor-site) to gain insights into the strategies of higher-ranking competitors. Identify areas for improvement and adapt your approach for enhanced results. Note that your rankings can change not because you’re doing something wrong and have been penalized, but because your competitors have better content than you and their results have been promoted above yours.
    • Stay up-to-date on Google’s algorithm changes through AIOSEO’s news and updates section.  Explore Google’s official list of algorithm updates to stay abreast of historical changes: https://status.search.google.com/products/rGHU1u87FJnkP6W2GwMi/history

    • Revisit your keyword strategy with AIOSEO’s comprehensive keyword research tools. Identify relevant and high-traffic keywords, and optimize your content and meta tags accordingly.
