• Hi
I installed to try your plugin and loved it and when I was ready I would have bought the upgrade no issues there at all but when your plugin decided i was going to block all my https channels coming from my server telling browsers it wasn’t secure when I know for a fact it was all that to force an upgrade at your leisure by forcing browsers to believe there no ssl certificate installed or active when there was just so you could make an extra buck.

M* that only FORCED me to look elsewhere and as a result have found a completely free plugin that does what you do at an instant thus as a result you lost out big time m8.

Word of warning: don’t FORCE people to buy your plugin by letting them believe that without it their lost or it won’t work because most of us are far smarter than that.

    YOUR LOSS m8
    Cheers

    Hi @phil1ooo,

I’m sorry to hear you ran into problems. It is not required to purchase the pro plugin. Really Simple SSL is built to be used stand alone.

All users (including free users) can also request support on this forum, or on https://really-simple-ssl.com/support.

Really Simple SSL won’t tell browsers a channel is secure or not: that’s something browsers will do by themselves. The plugin will force all resources over https. The browser will then decide if the it trusts this resource or not.

If you can post some screenshots of the issue that might help me find out what the issues was exactly.

Anyway, it is good to hear you found a solution.
