Loss of Strip Category Base feature

  • Ok, first off, this review is specific to this version of the plug-in. I have used this plugin for many years. I have found it to be the best out there for SEO tweeking of wordPress sites…until the last update.

Don’t get me wrong, I like many of the new features and that is why this is two stars not one, but the removal of the Strip category base feature has upset me.

I liked this plugin because I could handle SEO, whether sitemaps, webmaster tools validation, opengraph setting or page titles all in one place.

But now, I have to install another plugin to replicate a peice of functionality. A plugin that’s two years old. I run twenty sites and now I have to go back and install another plug-in on all of them just to get back to the place I was.

Please put this feature back in. Just because it ‘has no SEO impact’ is no reason to take out a feature we SEO’ers rely on. It makes the site look unprofessional without it.
