• When I add a new page and use the check view button, I get this error message:
    Not Found

Apologies, but no results were found for the requested archive. Perhaps searching will help find a related post.

This happened yesterday and stumbled out of it somehow. The blog returned to a normal view. This morning I added another page (not a post) and it happened again.

What am I doing wrong? How do I get out of this?

    Thanks.

  • Try resetting your custom permalinks back to the default setting. If this works, then review Using_Permalinks before setting a custom permalink structure back up again.

It was set on the default but I saved it as “default” again and that still didn’t solve the problem.

OK, I added a test post which seems to have restored things to normal.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?
