Hi @dviera,
While there is no restore functionality built into the free version of the plugin, you can still restore your backups manually via FTP and phpmyadmin. A regular full backup is just a zip archive of your WordPress installation, plus a dump of your database (and some extra files). But you can unzip the backup and “install” it almost like a regular WordPress site.
The plugin FAQ has a link to our documentation with a manual restore guide:
https://backwpup.com/docs/how-to-restore-a-wordpress-backup/
If you have any issues with your job or backup handling, then we are happy to assist.
Kind regards,
Niklas
right?! lol!!!!!!
Now I have to go through importing a ton of sql databases, worrying with usernames and passwords, because I’ve picked this *** of a plugin! LOL
PLEASE PEOPLE, not worth it. I have no idea what these people were thinking. I don’t even need an answer, I just want you to know: your plugin sucks and you’re brainless.
Thank you.
