# Loopback request failed

 * Hi,
 * I am getting loopback request failed with plugins and have narrowed it down to
   3 of them:
 * WooCommerce Upload Files
    WooCommerce TM Extra Product Options UserPro
 * Error encountered: (0) cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10001 milliseconds
   with 0 bytes received.
 * Also I get the error:
    A plugin has prevented updates by disabling wp_version_check()
 * How can I go about fixing this issue, should it be of concern?

 * The loopback issue can be a concern if you have tasks that rely on WP_Cron, that
   is anything that schedules events in any fashion (including WordPress automatic
   updates, scheduled posts for the future and such).
 * As for the disabled `wp_version_check()`, this may not be a big issue, I know
   many hosts disable it in favor of running the checks for you in a safe manner,
   and therefore disable WordPress it self from running it, which is perfectly fine,
   we include that warning because we can’t know which host you are using or if 
   they are implementing these things them self. If you are curious about that one,
   you can always reach out to the hosts support team and ask them if they handle
   WordPress updates, if they do, it’s all good 🙂
