Hi there. I am completely new to WordPress. I install twenty ten theme and I was doing pretty good I thought but I ended up trying to remove the comments section of the theme and I accidentally deleted loop-page.php. (the whole thing). Then my home page (which I set up as static) no longer showed what I wanted. So right now as it stands I am trying to show the page and under the Page attributes , under parent it does not show the page I want to display. I am not sure how to fix this. Please help. I could do a complete start over if it needs to be done but not sure how to do that either? Can someone help? Thanks

Don't edit the Twenty Ten theme. First create a child theme for your changes. Re-upload a fresh, unpacked, copy of the Twenty Ten folder to wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

Just use a plain text editor.
