• Hi.

Thanks for this plugin. I got the results that i was looking which i am really grateful for. I only got one little tip for the Elementor users.

Since Elementor cant reconize Photonic, its impossible to add your gallery to your page in between all the blocks. The only way how to recieve the certain gallery shortcode is to make a new page (without elementor) Open text editor en add Photonic, here you can setup the certain gallery you are looking for and in the end of the set up you will get the SHORTCODE that you can add back in your text on the page you wanted to have.

It would be great to recieve a shortcode from the Photonic settingspage so you can recieve any gallery without making a new page.

For the rest. Great Job! Hope you can keep this plugin for free.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

It is, in general, not possible to give you a shortcode template from the settings page, because there are 6 types of providers, multiple types of galleries for each provider, multiple layouts for each gallery, and multiple options within each layout. This would basically cause you to see way too many shortcodes (that was the reason for the wizard design).

I must confess that I have not used Elementor (I am probably among the 10% population that uses no builder plugin), so I am not really familiar with how it works. Does Elementor recognize Gutenberg Blocks? If so, there is a Photonic Gutenberg Block available – it is included with the plugin, and if you are using Gutenberg you can get it by searching for a block named “Photonic”.

The Photonic block in Gutenberg has the same UI as your regular gallery builder, but at the final step, instead of generating a shortcode, it builds a Gutenberg block.

Hi – a quick update: a widget for Photonic was delivered with version 2.40. Since Elementor supports WordPress widgets, this one can be used within Elementor and will let you build out the gallery therein.
