Support » Plugin: GDPR Cookie Compliance » Looks good, doesn’t work good

  • Too bad because I needed a plugin like this.

    My main problems:

It saves only the changes it wants. You can change colours, add aditional “cookie” bars….but then, when you add some text to the cookie notice, it doesn’t save.

When I add a cookie policy tab, and customize the link, it doesn’t reflect it. I can write any link, in visual or text format, or even erase all the text, and the default text, pointing to my homepage, appears. Its something I cant fix, some bug or conflict with other plugin, idk.

  •
More information about our Cookie Policy

Ignores it, also when I activate “cookie policy” tab (turn on in the settings) it displays the “More information about our Cookie Policy” under the title “3rd Party Cookies” which is another tab XD and clearly not the default title for cookie policy tab. So there are some conflicts with the plugin himself

    Hi there,

Thanks for your comments and feedback.

I’ve tested the reported issues, and unfortunately I can’t replicate them. I have some questions regarding the site setup:
    1. What is the WordPress version you’re using (is it multisite)?
    2. I’ve checked your website and it seems you’re using a plugin to translate the site. Could you please confirm the name of the translate plugin?

If you’re using WPML or qTranslate plugins to translate the website, you have to select the right language in the admin area before you start editing the texts. The colours and other settings are defined globally and these remains the same if you select the language. This means you have to edit and save the texts and scripts for each language variation.

I look forward to your reply.
