• Due to the way I have customized the Pinboard theme, I’m not able to use the search.php standard search template. I literally had to just empty it out. There are probably more elegant solutions but they’d wind up forcing me to create an almost entirely new template, which is beyond the amount of time I have.

I would still like to have a search feature though. One section of my site (I have a multisite) is working fairly well with WordPress UltimateSearch, which is frankly a very clunky plug in, but at least functional.

However, it doesn’t function everywhere because it seems to require a sidebar layout.

So, I’m looking for other search plug ins that write their own search.php style forms. Anyone know of any besides WP Ultimate Search?

    Thanks,
    Zach
