 * I am looking for either a wordpress plugin, or possible third party site that
   offers decent event registration, that I can hook up to paypal. Was hoping to
   find an event plugin, or just a good forms plugin.
 * Looking to set up for a single event. The event has multiple categories an entrant
   can participant in. I’m looking for something that will allow me to conditionally
   hide categories based on age or gender. In addition, I want to offer a discount
   if they sign up for more than one category.
    Because each person can only enter
   once, I’m looking for a product that offers a checkbox rather than a quantity
   field. So far the closest thing I’ve found is redpodium.com, but they won’t support
   paypal.com I’ve tried some of the bigger event and form plugins, but either I
   can’t figure out how to do what I want, or it isn’t obvious. But I cant be the
   only person looking for this.
 * Think of it like a track and field event, you can sign up for the 100m or 200m
   or the high jump, or all three of them. But we are offering 100m open to everyone,
   and 100m open to only women, as well as one open to only children.
 * Any suggestions are welcome, short of me having to code this up from scratch.

 * Dear Chris,
 * Unfortunately I found your topic just a few minutes ago, and that is probably
   too late. Anyway I wanted to present solution for event organizers like you –
   [self-hosted event registration software](https://conrego.com) we develop since
   2010 called CONREGO. Our application can be downloaded, installed and configured
   on your own server. Every licence is life-time and bound to a single domain.
   There is no regular integration with WordPress or any other CMS so it all has
   to be done different way. You would have to setup your WordPress site on some
   domain ie. abc.com and create a subdomain for that, ie: **registration.abc.com**.
   Then after the installation is complete the licence key is connected with your
   subdomain. Next step would be to re-create the same theme for event registration
   made with CONREGO as you have it done for WordPress. That can be done through
   HTML/CSS/JS modifications only. In most cases it’s quite simple.
 * CONREGO supports attendees categories, limits of participants per catergory,
   discounts function, agenda based on checkboxes and what’s more important – PayPal
   account integration. Whole application is [documented](https://conrego.com/event-registration-application-documentation-manuals-tutorials)
   in details so you will be able to find how all other functions work as well as
   test the application using [10-day free CONREGO trial](https://conrego.com/demo).
 * If you have any questions feel free to contact me directly at [support@conrego.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/looking-for-event-registration/support@conrego.com?output_format=md).
 * Best regards,
    Tomasz Chrosciechowski Founder of CONREGO
