Looking for Developer for Custom Photo Voting Plug-In (3 posts)

    Hey guys how's it going?

I work at a small photo studio and we were forced to move to WordPress for security reasons, and we're looking for someone to develop a custom plug-in for us.

We're loving everything, however we need a plug-in for our annual "Senior Challenge" voting contest. The way it was configured when we were not on a CMS was that we had a back-end that we would go into and enter/upload:

    Student's Photo
    Student's First and Last Name
    Students High School

After that, the front end displayed 2 panes. The left had an alphabetical drop-down of 5 letter groups (A-F, G-L...etc). The students were separated by last name and when a group was selected, a list would populate directly below it that were clickable.

In the right pane, once a student was selected from the left, their photo, name, and school information would show. There was also a VOTE button after that. When someone voted, it would take them to a Thank you for Voting Page and the vote would register on the back-end.
The students were able to check the Top 20 people leading in the contest via a "The Top 20" page where it would display the photos, name and number of votes.

Is there anything like this out there right now? If not, how much would it be for a custom plug-in to be created from someone on here?

I'm not aware of plugin that does this, however there are a LOT of plugins in the plugins directory you may find something similar to your requirements by searching and trying a few at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/

I'm afraid that this is not the right place for hiring people or soliciting quotes - http://codex.wordpress.org/Forum_Welcome#Offering_to_Pay

To get quotes for development you can go to jobs.wordpress.net.

Thanks very much cubecolor for your help. I'll search through the plugins first!
