Looking for db-based glossary/dictionary plugin

  • I am looking for a glossary plugin that is 2.8.3-compatible that uses a table in the db to store the definitions.

I really am quite amazed that there aren’t many out there and the ones I’ve found seem to be out-of-date. For example, I installed Gloss with my clean installation of 2.8.2 and it behaved as if it was saving as I was entering, but when I went back to look, nothing was there. 🙁

Other glossaries seem to be built dependent on the use of child pages, which seems like a lot of clicking to me.

I just want to be able to add new phrases or terms as they come to me or as needed and they can get inserted alphabetically automatically.

Anyone know of a plugin like that?
