There isn’t too much to say as it’s using a pre-made theme to begin with, You have then added quite a few imo very ugly animations/banners.
The moving twitter bird is also incredibly annoying and distracting. Let people read the content don’t distract them with unnecessary animations as it will only deter people from staying on your site or reading any of the content.

those ‘ugly banners’ have been custom made to link to his yelp and youtube pages

I think all that animation going on is distracting. Consider either leaving the truck or the house in the box fixed and put the companies name and phone number on the box or the side of the truck. You should install either yoast or all in one seo plugin to help with a description tag and sitemap builder. Your title tag with the domain name at the beginning is wasting valuable real estate space. Use the title tag for your main keywords and seperate them with a space – pipe – space “|”.

I agree with the previous comments re: all the animation being distracting, but I have to give you credit trying to make something as mundane as moving attractive.
Really, it is a pretty gook site, canned template or not.
