Looking for advice regarding translation

Hello everyone.

I have a website that is currently in English. I would love to add translation in a couple more languages at the very minimum.

My favorite option would be to create new pages for each language and have something that could connect the pages together using the main menu (like a language switcher or something similar).

I would rather use a language menu option than a widget (for various reasons but mostly because it is cleaner and more practical this way).

Of course, as soon as the article has been translated into the new language, the menu would have to translate to the appropriate language as well.

I have tried a few free plugins so far without much success. (I don’t have money to purchase expensive plugins at the moment.)

qtranslate seems to bug, and polylang which was perfect made my eshop bug. So I had to remove it.
