Looking for a way to sum columns

Hello,

I have someone who wants to have an online questionnaire where the visitor clicks on check boxes on the page. Each box is assigned a value. The value of all the boxes checked is summed at the bottom of the page.

I realize this is a bit of a reach but I thought I’d ask here before taking the custom code approach.
