Looking for a Thread on the Images Been Renamed

I was reading some threads here in the last few days but now I can’t seem to find it even with searching.

It was a similar issue to mine where my wordpress images are getting renamed when uploaded to AWS S3 to have this at the end “-1.jpg”

I.e. the image name was myimage.jpg but when they go to AWS it is renamed to myimage-1.jpg

I also note that an image like “myimage-300×268.jpg” will be renamed to “myimage-1-300×268.jpg”

Could someone point me to that thread or could tell me why this is happening>

it has been a bit frustrating as spent many days to get it all working and then i get this happen now.

I think this is wordpress and not the plugin,. I will look further into this …

yes I can confirm this happens when an image with the same name is already in the wp-content/uploads folder. I had to delete them first and then they rename normally.
