Looking for a plugin to put a few feature posts on main page of wp 2.3

    I am looking to feature a few posts on the main page (what people see when they first get on my site). I am new to wordpress but from my understanding there is “adhesive” plugin for earlier versions of wordpress, before 2.3.

    You can also try two other plugins:

    1. http://www.grablabs.com

    Lets you and your users add links to your posts with a single mouse click. Its a basic link clipboard. Awesome for quickly building up related articles.

    2. http://www.arkayne.com

    Adds related posts to the bottom of your posts. Fully customizable and automated. Their algorithm is pretty smart about picking out related pages.

    Im looking for something that I can have a featured set of articles.

    Right now as with any default wordpress site, it only shows the most recent posts when you go onto my blog site. I would like it so when someone goes on to the root of my blog site the see a few featured posts.
