Looking for a Plugin

    I don’t know if this exists, but I’d like to find a plugin, or get some tips on how I can block characters in a comment.

    Here’s the situation. I have set up blogs for some people, but the ‘head IT’ guy is concerned about attacks with strings or embedded scripts that may be entered. He wants all characters other than alphanumeric removed and maybe periods and commas.

    Is there a plugin, or a page encoding that can accomplish this?
