Looking for a photo slideshow without image upload

I have my photos on a hard drive in my own directory structure. Each image is accessible via a URL. I really don’t want to import all those images into my WordPress upload folder just to display them in a pretty slideshow.

I have looked at a lot of slideshow plug-ins but my “directory structure” requirement is not typical thus not usually one of the “features” mentioned. The closest I got was the plug-in “Abooze Slideshow” saying “Easily upload images with links”… but that can be read two different ways.

Can anybody suggest a slideshow that doesn’t require me to upload all images to the WordPress database? Better yet, does anyone know of a slideshow plug-in that will show photos based on the contents of the directory hierarchy?
