Support » Themes and Templates » Looking for a good theme for an indy record label

  • I have a small, independent record label that releases garage, punk, and primitive rock’n’roll releases in St. Louis. I had set up a WordPress blog for my label using Folio Elements theme a couple of years ago, but that free theme is no longer supported and it’s giving me problems with the pages not loading correctly, so I need to find another (free) theme to use for this site. It’s not so much a “blog” as just a listing of the releases with links to download and purchase the records. So it doesn’t have to be anything fance. In fact, the reason I liked using Folio Elements for this was because it was so simple. So if anyone can recommend a theme for me to use for this, please let me know.

Thanks for the response, but you linked the theme directory… well, first of all, I already know about that. But secondly (and more importantly), I am looking for some themes that would either be designed specifically for this purpose, or could easily be used FOR this purpose. In other words, I’m not looking for a general directory of themes. That I can find on my own. But I AM looking for one or more that could have been designed specifically with a RECORD LABEL in mind.

    Does that help?

I like the them called consructor Author: AntonShevchuk, because it is so easy to use, and it includes a header that can be altered. I like it alot but I might change my theme to something more “artsy” for a gallery feel, idk. Just started my blog and looking around still, but I recommend it to you because you can take the images they have off and leave it blank or put your own in it. They also have a help section to. It is very nice.

Thanks, I’ll check it out. Any others?

this theme can look like anything you want….. its highly customizeable from menus
