 * Hello,
    I’m looking for two files. First contain phrase “Logged in as admin. 
   Logout” it’s above comments. Second is with the text for welcome email when new
   use registered. Thanks

 * Well modifying core files will require retrofit of custom code every time there
   is a WordPress update.
 * With that said, get [http://wingrep.com](http://wingrep.com) and use that to 
   search for the strings you are wishing to change.

 * The email wording is controlled through WP core files. The reasona plugin is 
   recommended is that when you edit core files….it’s really easy to mess up your
   whole WP.
 * Barring that, even if you make no mistakes and it works, the changes will be 
   lost on each and every upgrade to WP, and upgrading is important
 * EDIT… ^^^ yeah..what he said!
