looking for 2 simple plugins and going crazy !

Im new to wordpress and using it as part of a web design class I am taking. I have spent 3 full days looking for 2 plugins…its driving me nuts.
1. I need a simple plugin to display a slideshow of photographs on my home page, just something simple that will run itself, and simple to install and change the images

2. And the second one I am looking for is so i can display my photos on my pages (i am a photographer), again something simple, something easy to use and easy to change images.

My web side is very clean and uncomplicate.

Has anyone got any suggestions ???? I have tried and installed so many, tink i going crazy at this stage.
