Media File Renamer
[resolved] Looking ahead to WP 3.5 (5 posts)

If I understand it correctly, this plugin renames the media file to the same as the post title. However, in WP 3.5, the media gallery is more dynamic to where any post can easily attach any attachment/media. Thus, a single upload will be used on more than 1 post. What are your plans for 3.5? I'm curious, plus I'm considering implementing it in a production site, but I don't want to do that if it's not compatible with 3.5, coming up in a couple weeks. Thanks for contributing the plugin.

I updated the plugin for 3.5, it now works well with it. I had to spend quite a long time on it since 3.5 really works different, but it is MUCH better and cleaner. Please try the plugin and let me know your thoughts.

Just updated to 3.5 and now I get this at the top of my admin:

Warning: Missing argument 2 for wpdb::prepare(), called in C:\xampp\htdocs\testsite\wp-content\plugins\media-file-renamer\media-file-renamer.php on line 159 and defined in C:\xampp\htdocs\testsite\wp-includes\wp-db.php on line 990

EDIT: The warning disappeared. Ignore this post.

You must have upgraded to the new version of the plugin :) Yes, there was this warning with the previous version of the plugin and WP 3.5, but I worked on it immediately. Glad it still works :)
