Support » Plugin: WooCommerce » Look of the single product page

  • Resolved tracktor

    I installed a theme for WP/Woo.

There were also sample products which came togehter with the theme which I imported.

The look of these sample products (on single product page) is fine. Also if I duplicate and edit them they look as they should.
BUT if I created any new product in WooCommerce the look of the single product page is different.
rying since fews days to solve this issue but I could not succeed yet.

I hope that anybody can help me.

    Thanks in advance.

  • are you saying if you duplicate a product page and publish it , it looks different on front end?

demo samples usually dont offer much unless it came with builder for the theme woo single product can not be edited you have to theme styles or a tool like elementor pro

    theme name?

did you clear or purge all your caches, thanks

    Thanks for replay @kammy6000 .

Yes, a duplicated product looks different on front-end than a new created one.

    I use Elementor.
    Theme is Phlox.

If I customize the page only the new products look change.
The old (or original) look is not editable for me so far.

I checked with “What the file” and saw that in both cases the single product page loads “/plugins/woocommerce/templates/single-product.php”.

It is crazy. On the old/sample product page the main product picture is load via “.woocommerce-product-gallery .zoomImg” and for new products with “.master-slider .ms-slide img” (Master Slider plugin). Deactivating “Master Slider” only made the pictures and thumbnails look worse.

Any possibility to get control of which layout to use?

if you are using elementor you must make a template and apply to as single shop page , you cant edit the demo one , best to start fresh

or you can try to open the product page you are trying edit with elementor and save as template and see if it works and use that as template as single product page by using elementor settings , the single product page has always been a pain , kind regards
