 * So far I love the plugin. Small issue, likely me, but I made a test table with
   some random DB we had in house. It looks fantastic, but was not showing the department
   info. After struggling to figure out how to link two tables and do a project/
   publish (is it always so complex) I posted both tables to a webpage to compare.
 * The default table looks great. The new project/publish table looks, well less
   than great. Am I missing a trigger to make it look like the original table?

 * Dear [@grungyape](https://wordpress.org/support/users/grungyape/),
 * Due to personal circumstances, I am currently not able to answer your question.
   I’ll get in touch as soon as possible.
 * Hope you understand,
    Peter

 * Hi [@grungyape](https://wordpress.org/support/users/grungyape/),
 * It looks like you are using the Data Publisher for the first table and Data Projects
   for the second. Please note that these tools have different purposes. The Data
   Publisher is meant for (read-only) publications. Data Projects are meant for
   data management.
 * A publication is usually styled correctly by itself when you put it on a web
   page. A Data Project is meant to run in the back-end. If you put it on a web
   page, you need to add additional styling. This is documented here:
    [https://wpdataaccess.com/2020/12/07/styling-a-data-project/](https://wpdataaccess.com/2020/12/07/styling-a-data-project/)
 * Please note that shortcode wpdadiehard has limitations if you use it on a web
   page. The premium version of the plugin supports Data Forms, which does not have
   these limitations. With the free version running Data Projects in the back-end
   gives more stability as well.
 * Does this help?

 * I am going to guess it is my ignorance on understanding how to use your plugin
   correctly.
 * The final table display only needs to be read only, but it has to link two tables
   to get all of its data, the bottom table (Data Projects) is the same as the top,
   but this one is linking two tables to display and I thought that was what needed
   to be done based on a video I saw.
 * If you’ll note, the top table is missing the department name, the bottom is not.
 * To be 100% open, I am trying to give some co-workers of mine a reason to consider
   your plugin WP Data Access instead of using WP Data Tables. I believe you have
   more features we can use, but they seem stuck on how quickly they can output
   linked tables with default themes.
 * I’m clearly struggling to properly use multiple tables for output.
 * I will keep digging and see what I can do.

 * Hi [@grungyape](https://wordpress.org/support/users/grungyape/),
 * If you want to join multiple tables, please consider to create a view and use
   your view in the Data Publisher. The plugin supports views just like tables.
   That if often be the simplest way to create a publication.
 * Thanks for being so open! I like that! 🙂
 * Does this help?
    Peter
