 * Thanks for the great plug-in. It would be even better if it supported longer 
   footnotes that allowed basic formatting, like paragraphs and line breaks. A lot
   of my footnotes are long and need to be broken down into paragraphs.

 * I have tried, it doesn’t format properly and only displays one paragraph.
 * I have another suggestion. How about having an additional field on the new post
   creation page where you can list the footnotes and then reference them in the
   text with a tag that numbers them in the order in which they appear in the list?
 * If that doesn’t make sense I will try and explain better.
