After digging a bit more, this appears to be caused by the “until” date not staying removed in the event configuration. If I set it a year in the future it appears to be fine.
Yes, the plug-in doesn’t support indefinitely recurring events (each occurrence is a row in the event dates table). But you can set the until date to any arbitrary date.

I was looking right for that: indefinitely recurring events (typical example: a national holiday).
It would certainly be a really useful add-on for the next release.

Maybe. But it’s not really possible: each date must be a row in the database.
The only way to achieve it would be to fake it (set date to something far in the future and remove all reference on the front-end for the ‘until’).
But it’s possible to do that now anyway.

What you could do is add a conditional statement where if the user checks continuous event box, it would take the selected date and automatically place an end date 20 years in the future.
Or maybe a tool tip by the date field stating “If you would like a long term event please place an event end date 20 years in the future.”
I personally like the automated 20 year end date. You could then do a secondary check where if the continuous event box is checked, is the end date tomorrow, if so, change to 20 additional years in the future.
Just some ideas. By the way, your plugin is amazing. I have been able to save so much time and headache by using it.
