It has a few good ideas, but If Gutenberg is released as the default editor as is, it may well be the downfall of WordPress. IT’S NOT READY for prime time.

Every review matters, so thanks for taking the time to leave one. What do you feel isn’t ready regarding Gutenberg? What also are you most excited about when you feel it is ready?

Small things I don’t like:the ability to easily open a link in a new tab. The gear icon doesn’t show in some instances. The ability to resize and position some images or video. I haven’t played with that long, but I’m sure there’s other bugs in it’

The main reason is I feel that “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. I’m not a developer. I’m just a guy (like millions of other people) that started using WordPress because it was easy to build a professional looking website. I don’t want to have to learn how to use a new editor all over again.

One of my other concerns is that som plugins and themes won’t work properly on the sites I currently maintain if WordPress makes Gutenberg the only editor. If Gutenberg remains a plugin and gives us the choice to use it or not…Great

I really hope that you and WordPress listen to us “little people”.
