The module for “Let readers use, Twitter, Facebook, or Google+ accounts to comment” is very broken for me on multiple self hosted blogs. I have had longer comments completely ignored, they never show up on the site or the owners dashboard.

For one blog, I found that logging in via twitter allowed me to post, but using would not.

This morning I wrote a multiparagraph comment, about 20 minutes in the writing on this self hosted blog

And my comment disappeared totally. This is a ****ing pain. But she is important, so I decided to see if I could repeat it. I logged out of the WP connection, used twitter, and was able to post a one sentence comment

    I should be good?

SO I again write my long comment, but this time, remembering to save it to a text file. Click submit. Poof! It’s gone.

I write a second one sentence one, it gets published.

I can see no point in blog commenting if all this plugin lets in from me are tweet lenght comments.

Do your comments go into moderation before being posted or are they posted straight away? When you look into the comments section on your dashboard can you see the comments that went missing? – Don’t forget to check the spam tab too.

Would you mind if I picked one of your posts and try to replicate the issue? I wasn’t able to on my two test sites.

Thanks, but they never go to the site at all; they vanish after clicking submit. Totally annihilated,

This is not my site, it belongs to a friend. But I experience this on multiple WP sites that use the Jetpack option to login with social media accounts

Oh well never mind, the comment showed up an hour later.
