I have just installed this plugin and trying to to get it working.

I have [logout] on my page, but on the front-end, it simply displays a line of text “You have been successfully logged out.” That text displays regardless of whether I am logged in or not (so consequently, there is no link for me to click if I want to log out).

How is the logout shortcode supposed to work? Am I wrong to assume it should display a button or link when logged in that allows someone to log out?

If so, what could the problem be?

    Hi,

It’s supposed to be put on to a page that you then link to for logged in users. Anyone visiting the page will either be logged out if they’re logged in or will have nothing happen if they aren’t.

    Ah. Thank you.

Btw, some documentation would be helpful. I’m sure it would cut down on basic questions like this… did I miss that somewhere, or do you only have the FAQ tab here?

    I appreciate the quick reply.

    Hi Nyladenise,

    Glad to help.
Thanks for the suggestion, we’ve been compiling documentation of the plugin and will be adding a more thorough FAQ very soon!
