    Hi,

Although it’s a cool feature to make the initial login and registration items disappear and get it replaced by a logout menu, this logout item should not be added to every menu on a page.

I have 3 menus on my page: a top menu, where people can either log in or register, a main menu and a footer menu (disclaimer, privacy page, etc…).
Is there a way to prevent the logout item getting attached to the main and footer menu? I only need this in the top menu; this is consistent for users: they can logoff on the same location where they logged on.

Can I hide the extra logoff items with some css? Or would this call for extra programming in the plugin?

    Best regards,
    Patrick

    Hello,

    Can you clarify one moment?

Is it one menu created at your WP admin, that inserted 3 times, or there are 3 different menus?

    Hi,

    There are 3 menus:
    – top bar menu
    – main menu
    – footer menu

I want to see the logout item only in the menu where I also have the login item when the user is not yet logged in.

    Hello,

Could you, please, clarify, what theme do you use and how exactly you created these 3 menu in order for us to recreate them?
You can also provide a link to your page where we can check these menu.

    Hi,

The theme I use is OceanWP. It has 3 menu locations and I have a different menu in all 3 locations as I already explained previously.
The menus are created in the wordpress menu editor as usual.
I’m not sure what you can see on a link to my page as you would only see a login and register menu in the top bar menu. It’s only when you are logged in that you can see that your plugin added a logout item to all 3 menus on the page.

I think it’s easy enough to just test this on you own wordpress test install.

If really necessary, I could produce a test site and create you an account to login to that site.

    Hello,

    Sorry for late reply.

We can add changes to the css for your site. But for this you need to provide access to your site or create a test site with access as well.

In any case, please, contact to our internal support.
