    I put it in place of the text. [http://www.simonsrealm.net](http://www.simonsrealm.net)

 * Looks to me like it’s just a case of IE being retarded, so to speak. Try replacing/
   images/site/logo.gif with the full path to the image, [http://www.simonsrealm.net/images/site/logo.gif.](http://www.simonsrealm.net/images/site/logo.gif.)

   IE tends to be quite odd like that. It’s never a bad idea anyway though to use
   absolute paths instead of relative ones.

 * Simon,
    I think wantmoore is right…I looked at the HTML, and it seems fine to
   me, although the XHTML validator thinks that there should be a closing at the
   end of the HREF part of the code, just before the IMG part. Why can’t everybody
   just go Firebird? 🙂

 * Craig,
    I couldn’t agree more. Maybe we can all band together and get some big
   name computer maker to start bundling it? Heck, the W3C should help fund a project
   to mass mail a CD containing Firebird/Thunderbird as well as all the other browser’s
   under the Mozilla umbrella. We would all benefit from not having to make crap-
   tacular changes to our code to make it “look” right in IE. *sigh* Sorry for the
   slightly off-topic rant, but someone has to say it!

 * Simon,
    I was just reading on your blog there and thought I would offer some
   assistance. Do you by chance have access to PHPmyAdmin? You noted that WP wouldn’t
   let your backup in, just curious as to what sort of backup you did. I’ll be more
   than glad to assist you in trying to import your old stuff if you want the help.
   Just let me know.

 * wantmoore,
    Thanks but the posts are not the biggest problem. It was only two
   months as that is when i switched over to wp. My biggest “arrgh” is the design.

 * Hello again,
    I don’t know if you’ve seen this, or maybe you’re wanting something
   completely original, but Alex’s new style switcher is pretty cool. Plus, there
   are some really neat templates already there for the competition he is holding.
   Hope you get things working the way you want.

 * From looking at the source, and your css, you are declaring things in the actual
   layout that are not specified in the css.
    From source: <li id=”navigation”>Navigation
   so somewhere in the css should be something that defines just what style to apply
   to anything within a ‘navigation’ declaration. This is how I have my links appear:[
   li]Opinion: [ul] [li][a href=’[http://www.metacritic.com/’%5Dmetacritic%5B/a%5D%5B/li%5D](http://www.metacritic.com/’%5Dmetacritic%5B/a%5D%5B/li%5D)[
   li][a href=’[http://www.michaelmoore.com/’%5Dmichael](http://www.michaelmoore.com/’%5Dmichael)
   moore[/a][/li] [/ul [/li] Links part of the admin screen – name the category,
   add the link, and the default css takes care of how it looks. (brackets should
   be the pointy ones..I changed them (where *is* that widget)) I’m not quite sure
   what you mean by having titles / links separate .. is there a page you could
   point to to illustrate ?
